Abducted, Raped And Murdered Woman Found Dead In The Boot Of A Jeep

A woman by the name Joy Ojolede Okoh, was kidnapped, raped and killed in Benin City by unknown persons yesterday.

23-year old Okoh’s body was found in the boot of a jeep at Upper Mission Extension in Benin. The jeep which was snatched by the gunmen in order to carry out their plans was abandoned, PM news reports.

The Edo Police Command spokesman, which confirmed the incident through Deputy Superintendent of Police Stephen Onwuchei, said investigation has commenced into the matter.

The late Okoh  was a bread seller at Lucky Way Junction by Ramat Park, was allegedly on her way home at about 7:30pm when she was forcefully adopted.

The cases of kidnapping which seem to have reduced in the state  before now, is becoming a norm in the state these days.

But DSP Onwuchei has promised that the police in the state will nip in the bud, plans of criminals in the state to disrupt the peace in the state.

Meanwhile, a 21-year old university undergraduate has accused his parents of engaging in occultism which he alleged was behind the many spiritual attacks he had been experiencing since he was 17.
