DR. Bello Umar Dikko, the Executive Secretary of Kano State’s Health Services Management Board, is dead. He died Friday, at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital.
A qualified and experienced consultant obstetrics gynecologist, Dr Dikko was the son of late Alhaji Umaru Babura, Sarkin Fulanin Ja’Idanawan Kano, and one-time Minister of Establishment in the old Northern Region.
Left to mourn him are two wives, children, brothers and sisters, among whom are Mallam Abdulrahaman Umar, a former Executive Director of Afribank Plc, Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Mohammed Dikko Umar, and Professor Aliyu Umar Dikko of the Kaduna State University.
Dr. Dikko has since been buried according to Muslim rites.
