Tunisia’s Esperance has moved swiftly to secure the services of Flying Eagles forward, Bernard Bulbwa, by moving to pay him $80,000 as part of his signing-on fee.
Bulbwa told africanFootball.com recently that he does not have a valid contract with the top Tunisian club after the team officials stalled discussions with his London-based agent on some grey areas in the contract he reportedly signed in March.
“Esperance officials have now contacted me to furnish them with my bank details so that they could pay part of my signing-on fees. But I have directed them to my agent, he is the man they have to deal with if they really want me to play for them,” he told africanFootball.com.
Bulbwa’s contract will start on July 1, although the Tunis club had asked him to come over immediately after the Flying Eagles crashed out of the FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand.
