Goldie’s costume for Unilag Art Department

The property of the late hip-hop star and Big Brother Africa’s Housemate, Goldie, was yesterday auctioned at her home at 30B Ologunkutere Street, Parkview Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos.

The property of the singer, who died on February 14 after returning from the last Grammy Awards in the United States, was displayed for sale.

The items include her home fittings, a 72-inch Pioneer flat screen television set, a camera, glass cups, chairs, tables, personal effects, some of which had not been worn before the popular singer passed on.

The others are clothes, shoes and jewelry, among other things.

Goldie’s costume, as ordered by her husband, Mr. Andrew Harvey, is to be sent to the University of Lagos (UNILAG) Creative Arts Department.

Also, her husband’s Engineering textbooks are to be sent Yaba College of Technology (Yabatech). Other items for sale but not yet sold include her 500 ML Mercedes Benz.

The proceeds from the auction, according to information by the late singer’s family, would be sent to Project Alert, a charity organisation she was associated with.

Mrs. Akinkuotu and Deji Adetayo were on hand to auction the items on behalf of the late singer’s family.
