Few weeks ago, Tonto Dikeh announced to her fans via Twitter that she has been working in the studio and would be dropping new singles. Many fans didn’t take her words too serious and criticized her venturing into music in the very first place, while others waited in anticipation. Well, Tonto believes she’s got talent to sing, and have no plans of backing down anytime soon. The controversial Nollywood actress proceeded to drop her two new singles without hesitation.

The first track titled “Itz Ova”, is a break up song produced by Teso Music and features upcoming act, SNYPA while her second single, “Get High or HI” is a funky, upbeat and techno pop song.

The song “Itz Ova” is not exactly a great song but it is a fair attempt by the actress. It is more like a musical drama where the male vocal (Synpa) is trying to get his lost love but the female vocalist (Tonto) insists on “it’s ova, my heart is for another

The song focuses on the issue of trust in relationships and ‘not appreciating what one has until one loses it’. The tone with which Tonto Dikeh pronounced the ‘Rude boy’ at the beginning of the song spiced up the music a little.
