An auto accident at Oro, Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, yesterday, claimed the lives of three young men.
The eldest son of a member of the State House of Assembly, Alhaja Nimota Ibrahim simply identified as AbdulWaheed, the son of retired Nigerian customs officer identified as Sogo and another person were said to have died in the motor accident.
The driver of the vehicle according to sources was the only survivor of the fatal road accident.
While the remains of the son of the lawmaker, AbdulWaheed had been buried at the Muslim cemetery along New Yidi Road, Ilorin, according to Islamic rites, the corpses of the two other victims had been deposited in the mortuary at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital.
The chief Imam of Oniyangi Mosque, Ilorin was said to have led the funeral prayer for the late AbdulWaheed.
The mother of AbdulWaheed, Alhaja Nimota Ibrahim was said to be in South Africa as at the time of this report.
When contacted the spokesman of the State Police Command, ASP Daboh Ezekiel said the incident had not been reported to the police headquarters.
