Lagos alerts Christian pilgrims of fake consultants

THE Lagos State government has alerted 2012 pilgrims to the Holy Lands in Israel of the activities of persons, who disguised as consultants to the government with the intention of defrauding unsuspecting faithful.

The Commissioner for Home Affairs and Culture, Mr. Oyinlomo Danmole, in a statement yesterday, warned members of the public to be wary of such unscrupulous persons, who operate under the name of CITTI TWELVE (12) Limited with office at Akeem Balogun Street, Agidingbi Ikeja.

He said: “The Lagos State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board wishes to emphatically disclaim the activities of fake consultants claiming to be acting at the behest of the board regarding the impending Christian Pilgrimage to the Holy Land.

“Some of these unscrupulous elements, one of which is CITTI TWELVE (12) Limited with offices around Akeem Balogun St Agidingbi, Ikeja have been going to prospective pilgrims claiming to be consultants to the board on matters affecting 2012 pilgrimage.”
