Nigerians Attack Bode George For Calling Tinubu A “Local Champion”

Nigerians have reacted to the political rivalry between a former deputy national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Bode George and the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

For years, newspaper headlines have competed for stories on the irreconcilable differences between Tinubu and George as only recently the former mocked the latter for his position to go on exile if the PDP lose out in the April 11 governorship election in Lagos.

Following the PDP’s defeat, Tinubu immediately called for George to redeem his vow and go on exile.

It is however the turn of Bode George to throw some soccer-punches at Tinubu as a case was reported in the wee hours of today.

Reacting to Senator Bukola Saraki victory and emergence as the Senate President yesterday, Bode George said, the victory marked the end of the political career of Bola Tinubu.
