The Ghanaian actress who is excited about being a mother revealed her pregnancy was planned because she always wanted to be a mum. She also revealed the father of her baby isn’t the one who proposed her.
On if the baby was planned, Yvonne Nelson had this to say:
“It was and the truth of the matter is it’s been something i’ve been waiting since i was 29. On my 30th birthday, i was in Venice Italy. I remember that night before my birthday, i called mom and i was crying. I was so sad, i was seeing someone else then and he was an ideal guy and everything. He took me there for my birthday and he proposed to me. He’s somebody i would love to have a family with but he wanted me move to London. My life was going to change because of him and it’s not something you should do. You don’t have to change your life because of a man, because of your marriage. I’m sure most people do. So in the long run, it didn’t work out.
It’s quite funny because someone proposed and i didn’t get to have a baby for the person. And the person who hasn’t proposed, i’m having a baby for him. So it’s vibe, it’s friendship, it’s understanding. It’s how the person makes you feel. It’s not someone putting a rock on your finger and forget” – Yvonne Nelson
On the identity of her baby’s dad, here’s what she said:
“Her dad is very excited too. He is not a first time dad. He is supper happy and very supportive. He is a British and such a great person. I admire how amazing he is with kids and i respect him for that. He takes care of me” – Yvonne Nelson
Recall Yvonne Nelson welcomed her baby girl on Sunday October 29th. She has joined the likes of her colleagues such as Nadia Buari, Amanda Ebeye, Genevieve Nnaji, and many others who are baby mamas.
