Nigerians Bombard New Speaker On Social Media, Read What They Are Telling Him

Nigerians have taken to social media to congratulate  the newly elected Speaker of the House of Representative, Rt. Hon. Yukubu  Dogara over his victory.

Dogara defeated former Minority Leader of the House, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, in a keenly contested poll even as his party, rejected the election leading to his emergence.

While his victory is seen  by political watchers as a grand plan by the opposition Peoples Democracy Party,(PDP) to deny the APC the opportunity to dominate the 8th National Assembly.

The PDP has earlier endorsed Saraki and Dogora who have since emerge  as the Senate president and Speaker respectively.

Meanwhile, top APC stalwarts such as Vice-President Atiku Abubakar and Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed  and Sokoto State counterpart, Hon. Aminu Tambuwal, have hailed the newly elected leaders of the National Assembly, urging them to see their emergence beyond  the narrow interests of respective political parties.
