Nollywood Pays Homage To Late Actor Dede One Day
NigeriaTrends.com — Late Nollywood Comic Actor, Dede One Day, is being honoured by the Nollywood Community across the Southeast region. The Imo state chapter of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) plans to hold a candle light procession for late Peter Onwuzurike Onyehidelam, on Friday 12, 2016. This comes days after Abia State AGN held a successful candle light for the late Nollywood actor.
The actor’s guild says it is expecting all members of the guild in Imo State to be present at the candle light procession.
The chairman of Imo AGN Conac Umez explained how friendly Dede One Day was with the guild while alive. He went further to describe him as one actor whose role cannot be replaced by another in a long time.
The chairman of the Guild also promises to support the family, assuring the guild will be at his country home after the candle night to offer the late popular comedian a befitting burial.
Few days ago, the Abia state chapter of AGN held a candle light procession for the late actor in Aba on Tuesday, February 9 in Aba.
The late actor’s remains will be committed to mother earth on Saturday, February 13 in his hometown, Umuagwuru Mbieri, Imo State.
Dede One Day died after battling with high blood pressure on Saturday, December 14, 2015, while performing at an event in Aba. May his soul continue to rest in the Lord’s blossom.
