An angry son has killed his mother’s lover, identified as Mr. Edoigiawerie Osayande at the Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State over unconfirmed reasons.

According to Punch, the deceased was stabbed when went to see his lover at her home in Zabayor Street at Benin on Monday.

It was learnt that the angry son attacks his mother’s lover with knife severally in the stomach leading to his intestines to spurt out.

Speaking to reporters the wife of the deceased said that  neighbours told her about the fight between her late husband with the assailant but met her his corpse on arrival on the scene of the incident.

Mrs. Osayande said, “When I rushed to the scene, I saw him on the road; all his intestines were on the ground. When I asked, they said that his girlfriend’s son stabbed him.

“So, I took him to a hospital. But after everything, he died. When we got to the woman’s house, we found that it was empty; they had run away.”

Confirming the incident, Edo State Commissioner of Police, Samuel Adegbuyi, said that investigation has begun on the incident as an informant has offered to help in tracing the fleeing assailant and his mother.
