Akinwunmi Ambode Dedicates Birthday Celebration To Fight Against Cancer
Lagos state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode has dedicated his birthday on June 14 to the fight against cancer.

Ambode, in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Habib Aruna, he urged family members, friends, political associates and well wishers wishing to place congratulatory messages to channel it towards the fight.
He said “As a modest way of touching the distressed and making impact on humanity, I have decided to associate with ‘The Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy (CECP-Nigeria)’ in fighting the big war against cancer.”
He urged interested people to send such donations to the First Bank Account of CECP-Nigeria. The project is being anchored by Prof Pat Utomi and Dr Christopher Kolade.
Meanwhile the Lagos state governor recently had an emergency meeting with tanker drivers over the rise in petrol tanker incidents within the state.
