Veteran Nollywood actress and filmmaker Kate Henshaw has sought for the prayers of her friend and fans as she announced the death of her dear mother, NMN staff reports.

The bereaved actress shared the news with her followers, revealing she lost her mother on the 1st of March.

Kate Henshaw called for prayers to help her navigate during her difficult time and also begged that her family be kept in their thoughts.

Here’s what she wrote on Instagram:

“Dear friends and fans, It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my dear mother on March 1st 2024. Your prayers mean the world to me during this difficult time. Please keep my family in your thoughts. REST IN PEACE MUMMY. Love Kate Henshaw.”

Prayers and beautiful words of encouragement have been pouring in for the actress in her timeline.
