For Stealing N100, You Wont Believe What A Woman And Her Son Did To Their Maids

A middle aged woman and her son in Abia state have done the ridiculous to their maids for stealing N100.

Punch reports that the middle-aged woman, Mr. Agnes Uchendu and her son, Ikechukwu Uchendu in a bid to punish their maids, Hope Ajunwa and Ngozi Ajunwa in Umuahia, for stealing N100, used hot electric iron to inflict injuries on the young minds who are aged 11 and 9 respectively.

The incident which got the attention of the Police in the state got Mrs Uchendu and her son arrested for the dastard act. They were arrested based on a petition by the International Federation of Women Lawyers, Abia State Chapter, led by one Florence E. Igwe, Esq.

Narrating what led to the arrest of the suspects, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr. Ezekiel Onyeke said:

 “Upon the receipt of the petition, operatives proceeded to the given address and arrested both suspects and rescued the victims. One of the victims, Ngozi Ajunwa, had injuries on the sole of her foot and other parts of her body.“The victims had wounds on other parts of their bodies which were inflicted by the suspect with a hot electric pressing iron. “Ikechukwu admitted committing the crime alleging that the minors stole one hundred Naira (N100.00).”

He however said that the victims are receiving proper care at the Nigeria Police Clinic Umuahia while the suspects are awaiting their arraignment.

Just this morning, a passenger who stole the luggage of another passenger on-board a Lagos-Abuja flight met his water-loo as he was beaten up by other passengers on the plane.

Ovuironye Mathew Dennis, the alleged thief, was travelling on a 6.45am Aero Contractors flight when he was apprehended while stealing about N350, 000 from a luggage belonging to an Austrian, Novotny Anton.
