Students to pay N76, 000 at Anambra University
THE Vice Chancellor, Anambra State University, Uli, Prof. Fidelis Okafor, said that the management of the institution has approved N76,000 as the new school fee per session for each returning student.
But Okafor announced that fresh students coming into the university would pay N104, 000 as school fee this session.
Addressing reporters in Awka on the 2011 convocation scheduled for December, 8th and 9th, the VC said after consultations with the university council and the state government, the school fee was reduced from N86,000 to N76,000 for old students, while that of fresh students was also reduced from N129,000 to N104,000.
He, however, complained that the university was losing about N100 million from the fees reduction, noting that this was a sacrifice the institution had to make to accommodate students.
