Borno farmers get 300 bulls, others

TO address poverty and unemployment among farmers in Borno State, Governor Kashim Shettima has launched the distribution of 150 ox-drawn ploughs to the farmers.

The governor has also ordered that 300 working bulls should be purchased for the farmer’s use.

The ox-ploughs are for farmers who could not afford the state’s Tractor Hiring Services (THS) fee of N7, 000 per hour for farmland cultivation.
