Dolphins want 500,000 Euros for Ajagun

Nigeria premier league side Dolphins has placed a 500,000 Euros price tag on Flying Eagles skipper Abduljaleel  Ajagun who has excelled at the U-20 World Cup in Turkey.

Ajagun, who could play as playmaker or attacking midfielder, scored twice in the Flying Eagles 3-2 loss to Portugal in Kayseri, Turkey, on Friday.

Several sources confirm to MTNFootball.com that the Port Harcourt club will only transfer the midfielder for 500,000 Euros.

“Right now I have a club who are willing to pay for the player, but Dolphins has demanded for 500,000 Euros,” a Europe-based agent informed MTNFootball.com

Another agent who claimed to have some serious offers for the player in Turkey was also told he would need to pay 500,000 Euros to get his man.

The 20-year-old Ajagun has generated a lot of interest especially in Turkey and local club Kayserispor, where the flying Eagles train, is reported to be keen to sign the former U-17 international.

The former Nigeria Premier League champions had sold another Flying Eagles star Chidi Osuchukwu for about 350,000 Euros to Portuguese club Sporting Braga recently.

The transfer fee will be paid in tranches and Osuchukwu has signed a four-year contract pending a medical.
