Doubts Trail FG’s Vow To Pay Unemployed, Poor Nigerians N5000
As expected, the blogosphere (Nigeria twitter) has reacted to reports that unemployed and poor citizens in the country will pocket N5000 monthly from the Federal Government.
Making this disclosure during the 10th year anniversary lecture of Crescent University, Abeokuta, Nigeria’s vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, stated that government is currently evaluating the best ways to collapse existing cash transfer and social welfare schemes to ensure consistency and alignment.
This announcement by the number 2 citizen of the country has triggered reactions on twitter with many questioning the certainty.
