Edo Forum tasks govt on boundary dispute report

A BENIN Socio-Cultural group, Benin Forum, has called on the National Boundary Commission to make public its report on the boundary dispute between Edo and Delta states, as the dispute in the area had led to incursion into Edo communities with a possibility of annexation of the affected areas.

The Forum stated this at the weekend when it paid a courtesy visit to the Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole.

Chairman of the Forum, the Esogban of Benin Kingdom, Chief David Edebiri, specifically mentioned the Urobho of Ethiope West Local Council and the Ukwani of Ndokwa West and Ukwani councils as the people encroaching into Edo community areas in the Orhionmwon Local Council of Edo State.
