Industrialist hails council chief on development

Chairman of Oto-Awori Local Council Development Area Hon. Kayode Robert has been commended for his efforts in raising the standard of life and infrastructure in the council.

Chief Executive Officer, Podium Industries, Lagos, Chief Pascal Duru said the council chief has accelerated growth in Oto-Awori LCDA especially in education, welfare and infrastructure.

His words: “The administration has focused positively on the lives of the people, taking giant strides in areas of granting scholarships, bursary awards to indigent students and distribution of free exercise books, health care facilities, security, poverty alleviation and employment. These and many other remarkable projects are instances of Honourable Robert’s contribution to the development of Oto-Awori LCDA and its people.”

The industrialist said Robert has raised the council’s health profile, building Primary Health Centres in Imude and Oke Ijewu-Jakande communities.

In education, he said the Robert administration has helped to give pupils a better learning environment by rehabilitating and equipping schools. Also, three modern primary schools were built where none previously existed, which inspired more enrolment of children.

“The superlative performance of the man popularly called Bibiire is a perfect example of the kind of leadership we are talking about when it comes to rural and urban development,” Duru said.

“The distribution of poverty alleviation materials including grinding machines, generators and freezers is not a mere public show but an outstanding display of Bolaji Kayode Robert’s economic policy.”

The industrialist also praised Robert for building a four-storey Council Complex which accommodates 56 offices including a banking hall.
