Oil firm appoints vice-chairman, GM

IN a major restructuring of its management and operations, Owena Oil and Gas Limited has appointed Mr. Samuel Kolajo as Executive Vice-Chairman and Prince Claudius Olateru-Olagbegi, General Manager (Operations).

In a statement issued by the Company Secretary, Mr. Olukayode Enitan, he said their appointment was made the firm’s recent yearly general meeting in Lagos.

Kolajo and Olateru-Olagbegi will work with the firm’s Chairman, Mr. Bankole Oluwajana, to grow the company.

Enitan said Integrated Mineral Development Company Limited (IMDC) still holds a 70 per cent shareholding of Owena Oil and Gas Limited including 40 per cent equity participation it holds in trust for technical partners.
