Taraba donates to hospital

THE dreams of patients patronising the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) located in Jalingo, Taraba State capital, have began to yield positive results as the state government has donated a 500-KVA power-generating plant, two boreholes, overhead tank and ambulance to the hospital.

Governor Danbaba Suntai said the gestures were aimed at reducing the hardship of patients and workers of the hospital in carrying out their operations.

Speaking at the commissioning of the items, the governor also promised to reconstruct the major roads leading to the hospital’s premises.

It was learnt that Suntai’s assistance to the hospital was informed by the achievement of the health institution under the leadership of the current medical director, Dr. Wiza Inusa, in the last one year.
