The Man With A Big Heart: SEE The Governor Who Took Custody Of 6-Year-Old Disabled Boy
Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, the governor of Nasarawa state, yesterday, June 7, took full custody of a six-year-old physically challenged boy Samaila Dantani. The governor also promised to sponsor the boy’s education from primary to tertiary institution.
Leadership reports that Al-Makura made the promise when he saw the boy during an inspection of flood-prone areas along Jos road in Lafia.
Samaila Dantani is from Ashangwa and presently taking refuge in Akurba area of Lafia because of the communal crisis that displaced his family a year ago.

The governor promised that he would take care of the boy and provide him an opportunity to fulfil his potential in life despite his physical challenge.
Shedding more light on the development, Ahmed Tukur, the governor’s special assistant on media and publicity, said that Al-Makura was moved by the plight of the little boy, therefore, he decided to keep a poor child under his custody.
