Edo State: 22-year-old boy kills his mother for refusing to give him money

NigeriaTrends.com | SHOCKING NEWS: Wonders shall never end! A 22-year-old boy by the name Caleb Obasogie has allegedly killed his mother – Josephine Igbeneweka over her refusal to give him money.

According to reports, Caleb asked for money from his mother who operates a beer parlor in Benin city. His mother’s refusal to give him the money got him angry and he locked her up in a room. He used a bottle to stab her repeatedly until she died and her intestines ripped out.

The sad incident occurred around 8am on Friday September 29th 2017, at their residence in Benin city, Edo state. Caleb is a final year student at the University of Benin while his late mother owns a beer parlour.

Confirming the incident, the spokesman of the Edo state Police Command DSP Moses Nkombe said Caleb has been arrested by the police.

Some people who reacted to the sad incident stated there is more to the story than his mother’s refusal to give him money.
